Nom Status

Multi Grain Cheerios with banana slices and blueberries.
Heavenly,  It's all about the simple pleasures.

Sunday Gloomy Sunday

The first syllable in Sunday is Sun but there ain't no sun out.
Texas Weather is so schizophrenic.
You just never know, You really don't.
This week that passed was a big hectic mess.
I had so much to get done and got most of it done.
Keyword: MOST.
My tolerance level with others is off the charts as of late.
I blame it on PMS and women stuff.
I'm sitting here with cramps from hell so that should say it all.
I also sliced my skin and fingernail off cutting a Kiwi and
this has left me feeling like a cripple.
I can't cut hair, I can't wash dishes,
I can't even put my hair in a ponytail without flinching in pain.
Oh and as for typing or texting,
Forget it. Right now I'm hunting and pecking for keys on the keyboard.
I can type normally but the pressure is just too much for my little finger.
P.S. So proud of growing my hair out and sticking with it.
I cannot wait til it is LONG.

And Away We Go ...

Hello, My name is Rose. I live Deep in the Heart of Texas in a lovely little green duplex with my two beautiful cats. I am a Worker Bee. I'm a Hairstylist/Make-Up Artist, Online Vintage Shop Owner to Deer Love Vintage, Lover of All Things Vintage, Lover of the Arts, Music Afficionado, Rock-n-Roller, Best Friend, Daughter, Sister, and my favorite Aunt. My simple pleasures in no particular order are: Art, Architecture, Karaoke Showdowns, Messy Hair, Traditional Tattoos, Yoga, Vegetarian Cooking, Going to shows, Road Trips, Drinking Wine with friends and eating Sweets. I started this blog so Deer Love Vintage and myself had a place to come to call home. I decided to list blogs that have truly inspired  me for the years in the, Blogs I Heart section of my website. I truly draw so much inspiration and love from you lovely ladies that at times it makes my heart want to burst with joy that someone out there has as much passion for what they do as I do. Wish me great luck on this new vintage venture in my life. Hugs to everyone reading.
Thank You.
Here is some inspiration for you:

I'm a little under the weather.
Mother Nature is too.
Grey Skies, No Sun.
Chilly Weather, Tiny raindrops.
Decided to go and warm my belly with a little pho.
Pho Sure is so good and I love the atmosphere.
This is my Thai Bubble Tea with 1 Tofu Spring Roll and 1 Shrimp Spring Roll.
I'm patiently awaiting my Pho with Soft Tofu. Mmmm.
